Heat Shrink tubing

Heat shrink tubing can be used for a multitude of applications, including sealing low voltage electrical connections, wire and hose fatigue reduction, and repairing damaged electrical insulation. There are many varieties of heat shrink tubing to meet the requirements of commercial, automotive, telecommunications, utility, mining and industrial OEM applications.

Thin Wall Heat Shrinkable tubing is used in a variety of applications including flame sensitive areas of shipboard, offshore, and underground transit environments; high performance medical applications; large volume production operations; and sensitive electronic wiring harnesses. Thin wall is available in several shrink ratios and material types, with various properties, including flame retardency, low temperature recovery grades, wire marking compounds, and zero halogen materials. Environmentally sealing adhesives are available for most thin wall products. Sizes range from 3/64" (1.2mm) to 4" (102mm).

Medium Wall Heat Shrinkable tubing possesses excellent insulating, environmental sealing, and impact and abrasion resistance properties. Medium Wall tubing is used in a variety of general purpose applications to seal and protect electrical connections and terminations and provide excellent mechanical protection. DSG-Canusa's line of specially designed medium wall products have set the industry standard for the Cable TV industry. Sizes range from 0.3" (8mm) to 9" (230mm).

Heavy Wall Heat Shrinkable tubing is most commonly used in electrical power applications. Heavy Wall grades are rated for 600V continuous use at 90°C. These products offer excellent insulating and sealing characteristics for electrical connections and terminations, as well abrasion and impact resistance.
