The Heavy Duty limit switch is often used on installations such as mechanical press ram adjustments, press extractors, and shuttles requiring dependable trouble-free performance.

Gemco's 2000 Series Heavy Duty Rotary Limit Switches are ruggedly built to control the limits of a rotary motion or gear driven linear motion. The Heavy Duty limit switch is often used on installations such as mechanical press ram adjustments, press extractors, and shuttles requiring dependable trouble-free performance.These applications require a limit switch withstanding rapid starting and stopping, shock, vibration and still precisely control the end or intermediate limits.  These GEMCO Heavy Duty Rotary Limit Switches meet these demands and the high reliability required, exceeding other products on the market. 

Gemco Rotary Limit Switches are highly dependable.
The input shaft is either 1/2" or 1 1/4", depending on the reduction ratios selected. The shaft includes a Woodruff key and drives a bronze gear which rotates the cam block. The cam block houses independently adjustable cams actuating the precision type snap action switches. The switches can be provided in two, three, or four circuit configurations, provided with single throw or double throw switches for versatility of control circuits.  No minimum speed is specified because snap action contacts are used. Maximum rated speed of the input shaft is 1800 RPM and can be rotated clockwise or counterclockwise. The NEMA 1&12 enclosures are a special fiber glass material which is highly resistant to acids,alcohols,hydrocarbons and heat. Cast iron or bronze enclosures are available.
